Grandmaster Will D. Egner is Sr. Master Everetts' very first TKD teacher. GM
Egner has 52 years of training and experience. He began his training in 1957
at the age of eight. At the age of 13 he actually trained in Korea with
instructor Rhee Bok Mann. Grandmaster Egner earned his 1st degree black
belt in 1968 at the age of nineteen. He is a member of Korea TKD
Association/Chang Moo Kwan directly next, under Grandmaster Augustine K.
Lee who was sent to the USA by KTKDA president Nam Suk Lee of Korea. At
one point, GM Egner was the highest ranking black belt that taught in certain
U.S.Federal services. GM Egner is also a master in "Breaking" and has
amazed many spectators and collegues with his abilities in especially
breaking large stacks of cement!
SEVERAL OF HIS MANY HONORS AND AWARDS FOLLOW:
* 1968 Coast Champion, 1974 Light Heavyweight Champion *Mid Eastern
Invitational Championships * New York State certified teacher in Korean
karate * Instructor for Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Depts. Of
Justice and Treasury in Glynco,Georgia * Former United States Justice
Department Agent * United States Border Patrol Agent * Former U.S. Army
3rd Special Forces and 295th Military Police(RA)* Instructor of the 1975
U.S.A. Team-(placed 3rd overall) * Outstanding Instructor for 1975-
International Open Karate Championships, Pittsburgh,Pa. *- given after a
vote by the Board of Korean Masters, and presented by his teacher,
International Master Augustine K. Lee for past accomplishments and
dedication to Korean Martial Arts!
